Candy, Cookies, Cupids and a Train

We have been so busy having fun I haven't had time to update! As most of you know our little guy loves...loves... LOVES trains! This last Friday was a free ride day from UTA. Preston had the idea to take Brayden on TRAX and ride a few stops and then come back. Brayden LOVED IT! He loved it so much we ended up in down town Salt Lake!
It wasn't planned but since we were down town we decided to visit temple square and enjoy the sights. It was the perfect start to a four day Valentine's weekend. Brayden made a few friends on the train and just kept saying Choo-Choo with a huge smile. He loved temple square, his big brown eyes just lit up as we got closer to the temple. We talked to a couple different sets of missionaries and Brayden would tell them "I ride Choo Choo!" It was a great evening. We had so much fun. I just love these two so much!

For Valentine's Brayden had a party at school. He "made" Cars Valentine's for each of his little friends. He seems so little but is growing so fast. He has a couple of friends that he is close with in his class and the teachers have told me how cute they are playing together through the day. Today when we arrived one of his little friends was there to greet him and off they went to play. The teacher told me yesterday the three of them were playing with the blocks and they would just start laughing and no one knows what they are laughing at. He is so social... he just loves everyone.

On Saturday we did most of our Valentine's deliveries. We went to my Grandma Senie's with my Mom, Dad and Sister. Brayden painted pictures for all of his Valentine's this year. He loves to paint and now that he is older it is getting easier and easier to do activities like this! (For Grandpa Burt and Grandma Liz and Great Grandpa Chad and Grandma Verna that don't have it yet, there is a special delivery on the way!)
We hung out on Saturday night with my Dad, Mom, and sisters. We love them so much! I honestly don't know what we would do with out them. Other than Preston and Brayden, they are my best friends. I talk to them a million times a week and can't imagine if I couldn't. When we are together we laugh so much, we just have fun! We also talked to Preston's family in Hawaii. They are so wonderful. We don't see them as often as we would like but they are so good to our family. We appreciate everything they do for us and we want them to know we love them. Brayden talked with them on the phone and of course told them about his Choo-Choo ride. Life is great with such an awesome family!

Preston and I actually celebrated Valentine's on Monday. The President's Day holiday helped make this possible. So my Valentine took me to a late lunch and we enjoyed a date, just the two of us! We had an awesome weekend, one I'll remember forever! We hope you did too!
