End of Summer Catch Up

We did some fun activities to end the summer! We went swimming with the best aunties in the world. The kids loved it! LOVED.... IT! Ella is a lot more of a water baby than Brayden ever was... she was a little to brave for me. We had so much fun! Melis didn't swim because she did the whole Pancreatic/Gallbladder fun, so she was there, but on the sidelines healing up. She did great as the photographer! We love these two! I don't know what I would do with out them!

Hogle Zoo - Zoorasic
We had  fun taking the kids to Hogle Zoo! The kids loved it. Ella is the animal lover of the family. She would point to the animals with big eyes in excitement. Brayden's love was the dinosaurs. I'm so glad we made it up there while they were still doing the Zoorasic stuff! Brayden's favorite was the dinosaur that would spray water.... yes... it would spray water at poor unsuspecting people walking through the zoo. Brayden thought it was the funniest... coolest thing ever! He could have stayed there all day long and watched. We also saw our first flash mob. It was kind of cool. Right in the middle of the zoo near the carrousel a few people at a time would bust out dancing...it didn't take long before there was a big group. It was fun to watch. We had a great day as a family learning about the animals.

Firefighters

Sandy City has great activities during their Fourth of July celebration. My sisters and I took the kids and went to check things out. We walked through their booths and did a bunch of activities with the kids. They also had the firefighters come and put out a fire and then meet and talk with people. Brayden was in heaven. He was able to sit in the fire truck and get his picture with one of his favorite people in the whole world... a fire fighter. He was so cute and still talks about it! It was so fun to see him so excited and happy!

Silver Lake - Dinosaur Hunting

We decided to drive up the canyon before it got to cold, do some hiking and have a picnic. Not long before our little adventure we had been to the zoo where they were having their dinosaur display. As we were hiking Brayden decided there were dinosaurs in those hills! So we named our hike our "dinosaur hunt." It was fun to be out, it was beatiful and perfect! After the summer we have had I was so grateful to be out and about with my little family. I love them, they are the world to me!
