It is a year of first's for Brayden, this was Brayden’s First 4th of July! We started it early in the week and played hard through the weekend! It was so fun, everything is more fun with Brayden! (I seriously don’t know what we ever did with out him!)
We started it off on Thursday with the Riverton Parade. Brayden loved it! His eyes were wide with all of the new noises and the kids running every where for the candy. (Papa gave him his first Tootsie Roll… he didn’t really eat it but he was trying really hard to get it open!)

We had Brayden facing East away from the sun, but being the little monkey he is, he kept turning around in the stroller because he wanted to face the direction the parade was coming.
After the parade we headed up the mountain to our trailer, we had taken it up on Tuesday to get a good spot since there were so many out this last weekend. On Friday, the 4th we had a BBQ and did some fishing, biking and just hanging out as a family. Preston got a new dutch oven for Father's Day so we had peach cobbler for dessert.

It was fun to watch the kids play and just enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We came home yesterday and on the way home I was thinking how blessed we are, we have such a great family, great friends, and live in the greatest country in the world. We hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July!
